WWF and the EDM team have collaborated with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement around the world since 2005. Recognizing that people and the environment face increasing risk around the world, “organizations like ours will be working together on the ground more and more,” EDM director Anita van Breda said in a recent interview.
Van Breda and Canadian Red Cross community engagement coordinator Evelyn Vallejo Salcedo spoke with the Red Cross Talks blog about the green recovery and reconstruction trainings the organizations conducted in Haiti, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras, and aspirations for continuing work in the future.
